CHANGING A FUSE
Changing a fuse
Before changing a fuse, the cause of
the failure must be identi
ed and recti-
ed.

Identify the failed fuse by checking
the condition of its
lament.
Access to the tools
The extraction tweezer is installed in
the engine compartment fusebox.
To gain access to it:
)
Open the bonnet (refer to the "Ac-
cess" section),
)
Press on the hook

and release
the catch,
)
Remove the cover completely,
)
Remove the tweezer

.

Failed

Use the special tweezer to extract
the fuse from its location.
)
Always replace the faulty fuse with
a fuse of the same rating.
)
Check that the number marked on
the box, the rating marked on the
top of the fuse and the tables below
all agree.
The spare fuses are located on the
engine compartment fusebox cover.

The fuse box is placed in the engine compartment near the
battery (left-hand side).
Access to the fuses

Open the bonnet (refer to the "Access" section),

Spare fuses
The spare fuses are located under the engine compartment
fuse box cover.
The cover does not contain spare fuses with an amperage
of 7.5 A, 25 A or 30 A. If one of the fuses with these amper-
ages develops a fault, replace it with the following fuse:
