Ford Galaxy - 2015 Fuse Box Diagram

The LED on the transmitter flashes green
or red for about two seconds. This
indicates the signal was not transmitted
correctly. Repeat the transmission.
The LED on the transmitter illuminates
orange for about two seconds before
showing green or red. This indicates the
transmitter batteries are weak and should
be changed.
The LED on the transmitter flashes orange
for about 5 seconds. This indicates that
the signal was not transmitted. The
transmitter batteries are discharged and
should be changed as soon as possible.
Changing the remote control
battery
Make sure that you dispose of old batteries
in an environmentally friendly way. Seek
advice from your local authority regarding
recycling.
1.
Insert a screwdriver or other suitable
tool into the slot on the back of the
remote control, and unscrew the
compartment cover.
CAUTION
Do not touch the battery contacts or
the printed circuit board with the
screwdriver.
2.
Carefully prise out the battery.
3.
Install a new battery (3.3V type
CR1-3N) with the
+
facing upwards.
4.
Re-assemble the remote control.
Programming the transmitter
Further transmitters may be used with the
remote system, please consult your dealer.
Up to a maximum of 3 separate remote
controls may be added. When adding extra
transmitters these must be programmed
separately.
Note:
The heater must be switched off
during programming.
Note:
The programming procedure may be
repeated as often as is required. The oldest
programmed transmitter will be deleted
each time.
1.
Install the battery in the new
transmitter.
2.
Turn off the power to the receiver by
removing fuse F32 from the engine
compartment fuse box. See
Fuse
Specification Chart
(page 222).
3.
Wait for at least 5 seconds.
4.
Reconnect power to the receiver by
replacing the fuse, and press the OFF
button on the new transmitter within
5 seconds until the LED light turns off.
5.
The new transmitter is now
programmed.
Fuel operated heater (depending
on country)
WARNING
The fuel operated heater must not
be operated at filling stations, near
sources of combustible vapors or
dust or in enclosed spaces.

CHANGING A FUSE
WARNINGS
Do not modify the electrical system
of your vehicle in any way. Have
repairs to the electrical system and
the replacement of relays and high current
fuses carried out by a properly trained
technician.
Switch the ignition and all electrical
equipment off before touching or
attempting to change a fuse.
CAUTION
Fit a replacement fuse with the same
rating as the one you have removed.
Note:
You can identify a blown fuse by a
break in the filament.
Note:
All fuses, except high current fuses,
are a push fit.
Note:
A fuse puller is located in the engine
compartment fuse box.

12 Volt DC Power Point
WARNING
Do not plug electrical accessories
into the cigar lighter socket. Incorrect
use of the lighter can cause damage
not covered by your warranty, and can
result in fire or serious injury.
Note:
When you switch the ignition on, you
can use the socket to power 12 volt
appliances with a maximum current rating
of 15 amps. After you switch the ignition off,
the power supply works only for a maximum
of 75 minutes.
Note:
Do not insert objects other than an
accessory plug into the power point. This
damages the outlet and blows the fuse.
Note:
Do not hang any type of accessory or
accessory bracket from the plug.
Note:
Do not use the power point over the
vehicle capacity of 12 volt DC 180 watt or a
fuse may blow.
Note:
Do not use the power point for
operating a cigar lighter element.
Note:
Incorrect use of the power point can
cause damage not covered by your
warranty.
Note:
Always keep the power point caps
closed when not in use.
Run the engine for full capacity use of the
power point.
To prevent your vehicle battery from
running out of charge:
Do not use the power point longer than
necessary when your engine is not
running.
Do not leave devices plugged in
overnight or when your vehicle is in park
(P) for extended periods.
Location
Power points may be found:
On the center console.
Inside the center console.
On the rear of the console.
In the cargo area.
230 Volt Power Point
(If Equipped)
WARNING
Do not keep electrical devices
plugged in the power point whenever
the device is not in use. Do not use
any extension cord with the 230 volt power
point, since it will defeat the safety
protection design. Doing so may cause the
power point to overload. Powering multiple
devices can reach beyond the 150 watt
load limit and could result in fire or serious
injury.
Note:
Keep the vehicle running to use the
power point.
You can use the power point for powering
electrical devices that require up to 150
watts. It is on the rear of the center
console.
The power point indicator light, located on
the power point, shows when the power
point is ready for use.
When the power point indicator light is:
On
the power point is ready to supply
power.
Off
the power point power supply is
off and so is the ignition.
Flashing
the power point is in fault
mode.
The power point temporarily turns off its
power if the electrical load exceeds the
150 watt limit. The power point can also
switch to a fault mode if it detects
overloading, overheating or shorting
conditions.

currently selected gear. If a gear is
requested but not available due to vehicle
conditions (low speed, too high engine
speed for requested gear selection), the
current gear will flash three times.
Emergency Park Position Release
Lever
WARNINGS
Do not drive your vehicle until you
verify that the brake lamps are
working.
This procedure requires you to shift
the gearshift lever out of park (P)
causing your vehicle to roll. Make
sure you fully set the parking brake before
attempting to release the gearshift lever.
If you release the parking brake and
the brake warning lamp remains
illuminated, the brakes may not be
working correctly. The system has
detected a fault that requires service.
Note:
For some markets this feature will be
disabled.
Your vehicle is equipped with a brake-shift
interlock feature that prevents moving the
gearshift lever from park (P) when the
ignition is in the on position and the brake
pedal is not pressed.
If you cannot move the gearshift lever out
of park (P) position with the ignition in the
on position and the brake pedal pressed,
a malfunction may have occurred. It is
possible that a fuse has blown or your
vehicle
s brake lamps are not operating
properly. See
Fuse Specification Chart
(page 233).
If the fuse is not blown and the brake
lamps are working properly, the following
procedure will allow you to move the
gearshift lever from park (P):
1.
Remove the side panel on the right side
of the gearshift lever.
2.
Locate the access hole.

FUSE SPECIFICATION CHART
Power Distribution Box
WARNINGS
Always disconnect the battery before
servicing high-current fuses.
To reduce risk of electrical shock,
always replace the cover to the
power distribution box before
reconnecting the battery or refilling fluid
reservoirs.
The power distribution box is located in
the engine compartment. It has
high-current fuses that protect your
vehicle's main electrical systems from
overloads.
If the battery has been disconnected and
reconnected, some features will need to
be reset. See
Changing the 12V Battery
(page 250).

CHANGING A FUSE
Fuses
WARNING
Always replace a fuse with one that
has the specified amperage rating.
Using a fuse with a higher amperage
rating can cause severe wire damage and
could start a fire.
If electrical components in the vehicle are
not working, a fuse may have blown. A
break in the fuse wire will indicate a blown
fuse. Check the appropriate fuses before
replacing any electrical components.
